1. By entering this competition, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. References herein to “The Promoter” or “Swipii” refer to Swipii Labs Ltd., office at 280 St. Vincent Street, Glasgow G2 5RL, United Kingdom. Registration number SC437576.
3. The competition is free to all users of the Swipii app and entry does not affect any of the conditions of your Swipii account. You must be a Swipii customer and meet the entry criteria (4) to enter the competition. All qualifying customers will be automatically entered into the competition unless they request not to be.
a. In order to be eligible, you must be a Swipii account holder and must have opened the Swipii app at least once within the Competition Period (5). Those who do so will be provided with one entry into the competition for each time they:
i. Earn cashback in the Swipii app by making a qualifying purchase at a participating merchant on Swipii’s app (as per the “Earning Cashback” section of Swipii’s user terms and conditions).
ii. OR refer a new customer to the Swipii app using Swipii’s in-app referral programme, where the referred customer subsequently makes a cashback qualifying transaction (as per the “Who can be referred?” section of Swipii’s user terms and conditions).
b. There is no limit to the number of entries a customer can receive. For example, if you refer 5 friends who each go on to make a cashback qualifying transaction and you make 5 cashback transactions yourself, you will be granted 10 entries into the competition.
c. Entrants must be aged 18 or over and live in England, Scotland or Wales at the time of entry.d. If you are an employee or family member of an employee of The Promoter you are not eligible for entry.
Entries will be counted as valid between 00:01 on 1st December 2020 and 23:59 on 31st December 2020.
If at any time you do not wish to be included in the competition, you can email email@example.com and you will be excluded from the prize draw.
The prize for this competition is £100, deposited into the winner’s Swipii wallet. You can move funds in your Swipii wallet to your linked bank account by clicking withdraw in the app and the money will be moved within 5 working days. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable and there is only one prize.
A winner will be picked at random from the pool of valid entries collected during the Competition Period by a member of Swipii staff, no later than 8th January 2021.
a. The winner will be contacted by email using the email address we have on record for their Swipii account. It’s important that you tell us as soon as possible if you change your email address to avoid missing out.
b. Before fulfilling the prize, we may request proof of identity, age and other qualifying criteria from the winner. We will let the winner know what information is required when they are contacted.
c. We may request to use information such as your name, city of residence and a short written statement from you within marketing collateral we produce. Refusing to provide this does not rule you ineligible to receive the prize.
d. The Promoter will announce once a prize has been claimed, on its social media channels and entrants may also request this information by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org within 3 months of the prize draw.
a. The winner will be sent £100 credit to their Swipii wallet within 30 days of making contact with and providing necessary proof of identity requested (7c) by The Promoter.
b. If within 14 days of attempting to contact the potential winner, no response has been received, The Promoter will draw a new winner for the prize from the remaining pool of entrants.
c. The Promoter will take reasonable steps to ensure all eligible entrants are included and no ineligible entrants are included. If for any reason a qualifying entrant is left out of the prize draw, The Promoter will not be responsible to them for any potential prize they could have won.
10. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or any other social media channel where it has been advertised.
11. If for any reason any of these terms and conditions are found to be invalid or unenforceable the remaining other terms and conditions will continue to apply.
The Promoter will not be responsible for fulfilling a prize In the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside its reasonable control, for example a legal or regulatory issue or systems failure.
a. The Promoter reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition without prior notice at its sole discretion.
b. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss, expense or damage sustained relating to this competition as a result of:
i. Technical issues which affect a customer’s entry into the competition.
ii. Omissions or mistakes made by a third party, for example in provision of the prize.
